Description

Parsival is a well-presented 57ft cruiser stern narrowboat offering comfortable 2+2 berth accommodation, a light and modern interior, and everything you need to enjoy life on the waterways.

Built in 1987 by Shamus Walsh, with both the hull and fit-out by the same builder, Parsival has a practical reverse layout that makes excellent use of her space. The well-equipped galley features a four-burner gas hob, oven and grill, Shoreline fridge/freezer, generous worktop space and plenty of storage, while the raised breakfast bar-style dinette creates a lovely spot for relaxed meals, morning coffee or catching up on a little work while cruising.

Moving through the boat, the spacious open-plan saloon is bright and welcoming, with large windows, comfortable freestanding seating, useful built-in shelving and a multifuel stove providing a cosy focal point. Modern wood-effect flooring runs throughout, giving the interior a fresh and contemporary feel.

At the bow, the private fixed double bedroom provides a comfortable retreat, with built-in storage, overhead shelving, a radiator and direct access to the front doors and well deck. There's also a TV for relaxing evenings aboard.

The bathroom is light and practical, with a full-height shower enclosure, cassette toilet, hand basin with vanity unit, towel rail and useful storage, while a porthole provides natural light and ventilation.

Parsival is well equipped for cruising, powered by a Beta Marine 38hp engine with PRM 150 gearbox, and benefits from solar panels and an inverter. Her Webasto central heating system was replaced in 2025, and she also had a recent survey and blacking completed in 2025.

With her generous cruiser stern, comfortable accommodation and practical cruising setup, Parsival is ready to take her new owners on adventures along the waterways — whether you're looking to cruise extensively, enjoy weekends afloat or simply embrace a more relaxed pace of life.
